Anyone who picked this book based solely on the title, please raise your hand.
**raises hand**
To be honest, this book could have had a plot that rivaled (insert name of insipid book here) and I probably would have still given it a try based on the title. Every time I looked at the book, "Tiny Dancer" popped into my head. And the fact that the chapter titles were from songs didn't help my earworm disease.
Title-love aside...this was a really fun and enjoyable read. Samhain (or "Sam" as he prefers to be called) is working a mind-numbing job in a fast food restaurant when a flying potato brings about a course of events that reveals him to be a necromancer. What ensues is a fast-paced and hilarious journey as Sam discovers his powers and finds that even in necromancy you still have to deal with self-obsessed egomaniacs.
Now, if you excuse me, I am off to find book number two.
