A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas
Oh. My. Word.
What a book. A complete about face from the first book in the series - A Court of Thorns and Roses. Everything that annoyed me about Feyre evolved...now she was a decent character who evolved and matured. Tamlin took a back seat (which is a good thing in my opinion). It finally gave me the information I wanted when book one ended -- RHYSAND. Sure, the Seelie and the Unseelie courts were still different from any faerie worldbuilding I had read before...but at least there was worldbuilding in this book.
I won't go into any more detail than that because I don't want to spoil anything on this book. Suffice it to say, this book makes the trilogy worth reading.
