This was a fun, quick YA read - had a sort of Scheherazade/Arabian Nights vibe to it as Keturah tried to placate Lord Death with a story each night.
I would probably rate it more of a 3.5 than a flat 3. It read like an old-fashioned fairy tale or fable which, while entertaining, didn't really allow for a connection to be fully made with the characters.
